Happy Haleiwa in Hawaii

One of my favorite place to visit is Happy Haleiwa,which is located on the island of Oahu. I'm probably partial to this store because the owner's my friend. They have two locations on this beautiful island: Waikiki (Royal Hawaiian Ave), North Shore (Haleiwa Town), and Ward Center. This store carries many Hawaii themed trinkets from key chains to coozies. They also carry cute beach bags, lunch bags, and recycled bags with their logo on top. What I especially love are their cool and cute illustrated tees. Nowadays, it's rare that I see hand drawn illustrations on t-shirts. Some have that retro vibe going too which is catchy! They have sayings such as "Best Friends Forever" and "Life is Short Make it Sweet". What I also love are their food! They carry chocolates, tea, and local flavored pancake mixes (coconut, guava, macadamia nut). This is like a one stop gift/souvenir shop! Bombers for my Budget

Everyday I get the www.thezoereport.com and I loved her blog today which features bomber jackets. I went to investigate which ones I would want to purchase at my budget. Therefore, I checked out Nordstrom, ASOS, Freepeople, Gap, Topshop, Zara, and Pixie Market.

I went and purchased the Bunny Bomber Jacket. No, not because I'm juvenile, but I like quirky and funky stuff. Something with personality. Hope it fits! It was purchased from Pixie Market.

Jewelry Come True!

My Jewelmint jewelry came in. I was about to cancel my membership until I saw that they collaborated with one of my favorite designers, Erin Fetherston. Her style is so romantic and feminine! I bought a few rings and bracelets with my credit. I love that most of her jewelry is rose gold. I love rose gold! Check out a picture of my decorated hand!

French Fish

I am attracted to anything French and shiny. Maybe you can call me the French Fish. Anyhow, my latest crave is Kate Spade's Paris and the Single Girl clutch. I already have the New York Journal that I looooove. However, I wish I could grab the Great Expectations Clutch that's is sold out. Only place to mostly find it is on Ebay. Kate Spade's clutches and accessories are made of high quality. They are plated with real gold so it last longer. I still get compliments on my KS wallet til this day! Today I found a new website called www.befunky.com. This is so cool for people who don't have photoshop or who are not photoshop savvy. It can turn your photos into being vintage and duotone. I love this since I'm a graphic designer. I never tried this application on my iphone or ipad, but I think it'll work. It also connects to www.facebook.com, www.pinterest.com, and https://twitter.com/ You can also download straight to your computer! This is an awesome website! Check it out when you can! My Pick of Scarves

I'm into scarves now since I'm getting ready to go to NY and Hawaii is also getting brrrr cold. Yes, Hawaii. It's 60+ and we are shivering in Paradise. I'm waiting for it to snow at least once since Mauna Kea had some big snowfall! heehee. Anyhow, I tried the Ralph Lauren one in the leopard print. It's nice, price is reasonable, and light. A nice alternative to a person who a person who doesn't like all leopard and pay Louis Vuitton's price. Another cozy little scarf is Nordstrom Brand. Again, it's leopard, but it's 100% cashmere. Super soft and on sale now!! I also just bought today a hankerchief/bandana/scarf from J.Crew. Nice art of fishes and pretty colors. No, this isn't for me, but my son who's fascinated with fish! I may just frame that one! It's also on sale too! It's 100% Cotton.
