Garance Dore visits Free People Office
I just read that Garance Dore visited Free People's workspace in Philadelphia. It looked so cool to work there and so inspiring! I love that it has restaurants inside and a library. You can also bring your dog to work! I would love it if my dogs could lounge by me, however, they would keep begging for snacks and have their ball thrown at all times. She provides vivid photos for you to see- in case you're in Hawaii like me and will probably never get to step foot in their offce. Garance (http://www.garancedore.fr) is one of my favorite bloggers that I check on each day. Check out her other daily journals and videos when you can. You'll be inspired!

Where the World Wildlife Fund logo came from
Where the World Wildlife Fund Logo Came From
How cool is this? I stumbled upon the the creation of the World Wildlife Logo. It started off with a simple sketch. This is what one of the founders, Sir Peter Scott said: “We wanted an animal that is beautiful, is endangered, and one loved by many people in the world for its appealing qualities. We also wanted an animal that had an impact in black and white to save money on printing costs.” The firm responsible for the 1986 work was the San Francisco office of Landor. Tom Suiter was the creative director, I was the design director and Jenny Leibundgut was the primary designer. I discovered this artist, Mike Paz from my friend Jacky from Barefoot League Hawaii
and wanted to check out his art. I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I love it! He’s
from Hawaii and it shows through his art. Here’s a few pieces he did so far.
You can buy some of his products at http://projectaloha.bigcartel.com/
